Start School Later!
It's time to stop sending our kids to school in the dark
This is an issue I’ve been following and realize I should have a “beat” on it. Here is the key national advocacy group, StartSchoolLater.net. Perhaps there needs to be statewide legislation on this. I’ve noticed charter schools start later; perhaps they recognize this and this is a perverse disincentive to leave the public schools? I’m not sure about other private schools.
